Writer Taichi Sakaiya, 76, and actress Shima Iwashita, 71, are among the 4,110 recipients of this year's spring decorations for their contributions to society, the government said Sunday.
Sakaiya and three others have been chosen to receive this spring's highest award, the Grand Cordon of the Order of the Rising Sun. (Yomiuri)
