Chinese visitors to Japan rose last month, marking the first increase since the March 11 disasters and hinting that a recovery in tourism may be near.
November arrivals from China, Japan's second-biggest tourist market after South Korea, jumped 35 percent from a year earlier, according to the Japan National Tourism Organization. Visits from Hong Kong rose 23 percent, the organization said.
