A woman visiting from Japan was shot and injured when a police officer's gun accidentally discharged, sending a bullet through the floor and into the living room where she was sleeping, police said.
Plain-clothes officers were executing a search warrant Thursday morning on a third floor apartment at 3003 Clarendon Road in Brooklyn's Flatbush neighborhood when the shot was fired.
