Japan leads the world in preparedness to support the growth of cloud computing and capitalize on its technological and economic benefits, a global software industry advocacy group said in a report issued Wednesday.
The Washington-based Business Software Alliance said that of the 24 economies it ranked on cloud computing preparedness, Japan came out on top because it has comprehensive privacy protections that do not inhibit commerce, a full range of criminal and intellectual property protections, and robust IT infrastructure.
